Is there any way to keep whipped cream stiff for a couple days?

I'm making a key lime pie to take to friend's house for dinner tomorrow and I'm planning on topping it with whipped cream.

It always seems like fresh whipped cream doesn't last--it doesn't hold up longer than the day I make it. It weeps, or falls, doesn't stay stiff. I know that bakeries probably use some kind of stabilizer to keep whipped cream stiff--and it usually tastes fake.

Does anyone know any tricks for whipped cream---to keep it nice for a few days???

Thanks in advance. Is there any way to keep whipped cream stiff for a couple days?
Place the whipped cream in the freezer for a few days. This will help it to stay stiff, just like when it was first made.

When you are going to use it take it out at the last second. It wont take long for whipped cream to thaw.Is there any way to keep whipped cream stiff for a couple days?
Have you tried adding knotts gelatin to the whipped cream, that should help it hold its shape a little longer. Plus it is unflavored so if you do it right then you shouldn't even be able to tell it is in there.
U should try to add some viagra tablets
Like the others said, you could add cream of tartar or gelatin to stabilize it. In my experience those will give your whipped cream a couple more hours of life but not a couple of days. The only way I know to have nice whipped cream that doesn't taste fake is to whip it right before you need it. sorry :-(
add cream of tartar to it,
This is a cop out answer, but why not whip the cream at your friend's house and put it on the pie just before slicing and serving?

I agree with you: stabilized whipped cream tastes weird. Why do that if it's going to make it taste weird?
Add a small amount of gelatin.
